Olive Stack Olive Stack was born in 1974 and is a native of Listowel, County Kerry. She is a graduate of the Limerick College of Art and Design where she studied painting from 1992-1995. Subsequent to leaving college Olive worked for a time as a muralist and received several major commissions. She had her first solo exhibition in 1996 which was opened by the former Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Charles J. Haughey and has since exhibited in Ireland, UK U.S.A and Canada. In 1998 the Olive Stack Gallery was established in Listowel, where an ongoing exhibition of her most recent work can be viewed. Olive had a residency in Cill Rialaig Artists Retreat in 2003 and her first book 'North Kerry the Magic and Legend' was published in 2006
